Over the October half-term, Wigan Athletic players James Balagizi and Callum McManaman visited Wigan Athletic Community Trust's Football Holiday Camp at Dean Trust Wigan.
The pair attended the football holiday camp to take part in some small-sided football matches, sign autographs and inspire the next generation of Latics fans.
Wigan Athletic Community Trust runs holiday camps every school holiday to help children stay active and enjoying football when away from their normal school routine.
Speaking about his visit to the camp, Latics midfielder James Balagizi said:
“They're (the kids) all enjoying it and they're all aspiring to be footballers so it's just fun to get involved with them.
“I was a kid at this point when I was younger and I was thinking that it was my dream to be a footballer. So to see these kids today and for them to be inspired by me and Cal (McManaman) today then it was good.
“It's very good to stay involved in the community because it just shows the care that we have for the actual people (in Wigan) and the fans, so it's very important to show this side of it for everyone.”
