2024 was the year when Everton Stadium finally became a reality.
The three-and-a-half-year construction phase of the project to build our new waterfront home is over, with Everton officially taking control of the site just before Christmas.
It's been quite a journey to get to this point… and it's not over yet!
The next six months will see the fit-out phase of the build, with the stadium's bars, restaurants, experiences and retail spaces all being brought to life.
A series of test events will commence early in 2025, allowing Evertonians to get fully acquainted with their new home before the club plays its first competitive fixture here in August.
One the eve of a new year, a new dawn is breaking.
