Stoke City recorded their biggest victory in nine years as Narcís Pèlach's Potters produced a ruthless display to defeat Portsmouth 6-1 on Wednesday night.
Tom Cannon became the first Potter since Peter Thorne on the turn of the Millenium to score four goals in a game as he followed up his first City strike on the quarter hour with a further three efforts either side of Sam Gallagher's first goal on his full debut.
Andrew Moran notched his maiden Potters' strike to make it six as Pèlach's side blew away the visitors, who had equalised through Mark O'Mahony in the first-half, with five goals between the 43rd and 53rd minutes. Extended highlights are available on stokecityfc.com
