Qatar's bid fronted by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is considered the favourite to complete the purchase of Manchester United, with direct talks happening over the next two weeks at Old Trafford, reports The Times' Matt Lawton.
This is the beginning of the next major phase of Man United with all bidders set to assess the cost of redeveloping Old Trafford before entering a likely period of exclusivity ahead of lodging their formal bids.
