Three days of rugby 7s action was finalised with three qualifying finals, one of which took place between Russia and Kazakhstan but only one spot was available, as the Russian's went in as heavy favourites. Despite a gritty performance by Kazakhstan it was Russia who got over the line and cemented an Olympic spot.
