Ange Postecoglou responds to a question about Arsenal's use of ‘dark arts' after they were criticised for their second half performance against Manchester City.
-TIMESTAMPS-
00 Team news? We're looking okay. Everyone has pulled up really well.
28 Pleased to be back in Europe. It was a real gap in our calendar last year. Not having that challenge was an issue for us. Wasn't nice watching other teams play in it either.
14 We're getting towards a dangerous level of what expectations are of players. There are more tournaments. We're not going to have all the best players out there all the time. It needs addressing.
09 Players may take matters into their own hands. They are the ones who are most affected. We have a responsibility as clubs to help players. We have to use our squads to cope with all the competitions.
15 There have always been dominant teams with possession and other times where teams require less of the ball. It's a counter-balance of what can be successful. It's down to the quality of teams and how they can execute that.
01 Good v evil? Dark arts? It's all part of the game but I don't know how to use it. It's not been an effective tool for us. The counter is we have to be more disciplined. Some teams use methods to take momentum away from others. I'm comfortable in the space we're in. I don't delve into those approaches.
47 It will be interesting to see how this competition develops. Different teams, different styles of football. It's an interesting challenge.
55 Qarabag are a very good team. In Europe they always make an impact. Pushed Leverkusen all the way last year. We have to reach our levels. Experience in Europe counts and Qarabag have been there.
53 Never believe the English press! We'll play our football and play in a certain way. Europe gives us another challenge coming up against different opposition. It will help us develop as a team.
42 Maddison's role hasn't really changed. The key for Madders is being physically good. Receiving the ball wherever we need him to.
01 We've made small changes and adjustments to the medical department to try and reduce injuries. Other teams have suffered significant injuries. We hope we have a robust enough squad to help counter the injuries.
34 We've got a squad of players who will hopefully play 50+ games. European games and cup games are opportunities for us to develop players and get them ready. It's important we give game time to guys.
58 I want to win everything so there are no preferences.
18 From a footballing perspective being in Europe is a different challenge to what you face each week. It's good to expose the group to different environments. If we were in Europe last season we could have evolved more.
07 The first part is getting out of the group. You don't really look at things until the knockout stages. The challenges are still the same regardless of no Champions League dropouts.
