Frank Lampard is calling on his side to mirror the passion and fight of Evertonians ahead of the competitive 2022/23 campaign, after more than 30,000 supporters filled Goodison Park for the 3-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin's early header and a second-half brace from new recruit Dwight McNeil ensured a convincing victory in Everton's final pre-season fixture - the 'Match for Peace' - on Friday evening.
The Toffees played with intensity and purpose throughout against the Ukrainian outfit and, while accepting there were elements to correct ahead of the Premier League curtain-raiser against Chelsea next weekend, Lampard was pleased with how his side applied themselves in their final warm-up match.
