Comedian Mark Smith is joined by Football365 Editor Sarah Winterburn for this week’s edition of Big Weekend, in association with Paddy Power.
Liverpool are now in their worst run of home form since the formation of the Premier League, how will they get on against a Leicester side who keep impressing (apart from midweek of course…)
Speaking of impressive, Manchester City host Tottenham, a team Mark and Sarah call stodgy (this was recorded before the midweek madness). Can Jose Mourinho stop a manager who he has a poor record against?
It’s no surprise to see Southampton still gathering their bearings after their battering at the hands of Manchester United, are Wolves the perfect team to play, considering they’re a little flat at present?
Is Thomas Tuchel’s plan clear now? Sarah certainly thinks so, and Newcastle aren’t exactly pulling up trees, although there may be something there now one of their key attackers is back…
And finally Leeds travel to North London to face an Arsenal side who’s youth may be their undoing, especially against a Leeds side who Sarah just wants to see “keep entertaining us neutrals”
So with Liverpool looking a little lost, Manchester City looking the opposite, Southampton looking for confidence, and Chelsea having found it. Throw a great looking game eat the Emirates in, and it looks like a Big Weekend to us.
