Mikel Merino shared his excitement to play alongside Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice in a 'special' midfield as Arsenal saw off Monaco 3-0 at Emirates Stadium in the UEFA Champions League.
A brace from Bukayo Saka and a late Kai Havertz goal earned the three points, but left back Myles Lewis-Skelly earned huge praise from Merino.
The result sees the Gunners sit third in the group after six matches played, and the Spaniard has high aspirations to go on and win the competition.
