AC Milan kept in touch with Serie A leaders Inter battling past an in-form AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in a 2-1 win. Goals either side from Franck Kessie and Ante Rebic either side of Jordan Veretout’s brilliant goal for Roma were enough to keep the Rossoneri within four points of the top. The game was not without incident though, talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed an open goal with a bizarre backheel and later on the big Swede was taken off with what looked to be a groin injury.
