Nigel Owens reviews an incredible weekend of quarter-final action at Rugby World Cup 2023. He discusses what happens when a referee needs to be substituted, as happened when Jaco Peyper had to withdraw during the Wales v Argentina quarter-final, how you determine if something is a deliberate knock-on, as show in Ireland v New Zealand and England against Fiji, and should Springbok Eben Etzebeth have been carded and France awarded a penalty-try for his intervention on the South African try-line during their quarter-final at the Stade de France. We also check in with referee Sara Cox as she continues her tour around France, this week she visits the oldest patisserie in Paris!
